What you’ll do
Strategy & Planning
- Support annual and quarterly planning, aligning team goals with company OKRs.
- Identify and apply for government grants and innovation funds.
- Support the CEO on venture capital fundraising, pitch materials, and impact reports.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
Finance Operations
- Manage bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and invoicing independently.
- Prepare financial reporting and support budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.
- Administer payment cycles, payroll processing, and statutory filings.
- Support investor reporting and board documentation.
Human Resources
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from JD creation to interviews and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records, HR policies, and the employee handbook.
- Manage leave tracking, benefits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws.
Legal, Compliance & Admin
- Maintain company records, board resolutions, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with legal counsel; manage NDAs and supplier agreements.
- Run day-to-day administration, scheduling, and office/asset management.
- Organise internal meetings, offsites, and team events.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- 2–4 years in corporate operations, finance, HR, or startup administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and accounting tools like Xero.
- Familiarity with investor relations, grants, or VC processes.
- A self-starter, go-getter mindset — you chase results, not tasks, and close what you start.
- Highly organised, adaptive, and able to bring clarity to complex situations.
- Fluency in English, Malay, and Chinese.
