Growth Catalyst Manager

A high-ownership role spanning business development, sales, marketing, and operations. You will grow the enterprise seller and buyer base while shaping how SurplusLoop shows up in the market.

What you’ll do

Business Development

  • Identify and onboard large enterprises with idle, surplus, or obsolete assets.
  • Explore manufacturing and logistics verticals for circular-economy opportunities.
  • Unlock strategic partnerships with recyclers, resellers, refurbishers, and logistics providers.
  • Lead pitch meetings, tender submissions, partnership decks, and RFPs.
  • Build the corporate and enterprise seller pipeline using data and outreach.

Account Management

  • Manage relationships with corporate and enterprise sellers post-sale.
  • Drive seller adoption, optimise platform usage, and upsell value-added services.
  • Ensure smooth listing-to-transaction workflows and gather product feedback.
  • Resolve issues, surface new opportunities, and represent seller interests internally.

Sales & Buyer Handling

  • Source, qualify, and close B2B buyers across a wide range of surplus assets.
  • Develop buyer segmentation by asset type and behaviour.
  • Handle complex sales cycles — price negotiation, terms discussion, and closing.
  • Execute multiple concurrent transactions end-to-end and build repeat buyers.

Marketing, Communication & Branding

  • Design and execute growth campaigns targeting corporate sellers and verified buyers.
  • Create case studies and success stories around surplus transactions.
  • Track CAC, LTV, and conversion metrics across the funnel.
  • Craft messaging across decks, email, web, and social; keep the brand bold and mission-led.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in business development, sales, growth, or marketing roles.
  • Proven B2B client relationship management experience.
  • A self-starter, go-getter mindset — you chase results, not tasks, and close what you start.
  • Passion for reverse commerce, sustainability, and the circular economy.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong written and verbal communication.
  • End-to-end sales pipeline and CRM management experience; marketplace familiarity is a bonus.
  • Fluency in English, Malay, and Chinese is a must.
